FAQs
1. Is Shankara’s Timeless Kumkumadi Oil Chemical-free?
Yes, just like our entire range of products, Shankara’s Kumkumadi Oil is chemical-free, pH balanced and cruelty-free.
2. Is the Timeless Kumkumadi Oil suitable for oily skin?
The oil is suitable for oily skin. However, we would recommend using 1-2drops of the oil per application for oily skin.
3 . Is the Timeless Kumkumadi Oil suitable for dry skin?
Yes, absolutely. Kumkumadi Oil is an all-natural moisturizer that uses sesame oil as its base oil which is Vata-pacifying and balances dry and rough skin. We would recommend using 4-5 drops of oil per application if you have dry, Vata skin.
4. Is the Timeless Kumkumadi Oil suitable for acne-prone skin?
The oil is known to balance sebum and cleanse the skin. Thus, it is suitable for acne-prone skin.
However, if you have severe acne then you may want to explore our Blemish Support Serum for optimal results or opt for Shankara’s Beauty Consult to get insights from our Ayurveda Doctor.
5. Can I apply Timeless Kumkumadi Oil after my night cream?
Most night creams have either natural or synthetic wax which often prevents the oil from being easily absorbed.
To achieve the best results, we would recommend you to use the Kumkumadi oil before the cream and apply our Anti-Age serum or Daily Repair Serum prior to applying the Kumkumadi oil.
6. Can I apply Kumkumadi Oil during the day?
Most Kukumadi oils available in the market may come with the advisory to not use them during the daytime. However, our formula has been enhanced to make it suitable for even daytime applications.
7. How long does it take for Kumkumadi Oil to start showing results?
You will start seeing results with regular application in a period as short as three weeks.
8. Should you apply anything before or after Kumkumadi Oil?
We recommend cleansing your skin with Hydrating Cleanser (for Vata and Pitta Skin) and Purifying Cleanser (for Kapha Skin). Follow this step with the application of your concern based serum (Daily Repair Serum or Brightening Serum or Anti-Age Serum) and then apply the Kumumadi Oil. Make sure to apply Face Moisturizer & Sunscreen in the end.
